Sign the Parent Pact

By signing this Pact, you're joining a fast-growing community of families across Portugal, and around the World, who are choosing to wait to give their child a smartphone, until at least 14 or 15 years old.

It takes 30 seconds to sign the Parent Pact, and the more of us who do, the quicker we'll change the social norm. Find out more about why kids deserve to be smartphone-free on our website.

How it works

  1. Fill in your relevant details and submit (child’s school and grade).

  2. When 10 parents from your child’s grade sign up, your pact is activated!

  3. We’ll then notify all parents via email when it’s active, and you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other families for support and solidarity.

So sign up and spread the word!

Select school / Escolha Escola If your school isn’t showing up on the list, please contact us and we will add it asap.
Grade / Turma

Acting in the best interests of my child and our community, I will wait until at least my child turns 14 years old or (even better) 15 years old before getting them a smartphone.

For the different school system, it would be at least until the end of:

9 ano / Year 10 / 3ème / Grade 8

The Parent Pact is anonymous – we’ll never publish your name or contact details, or share them with any third parties. The Pact is not legally binding.

The more of us who sign, the more powerful it becomes in shifting the social norm in our community.

Plus we'll use the data to show the Government how much this matters to parents across the country, so that they take urgent action to protect children from the harms of smartphones and social media.

If your school isn’t showing up on the list, please contact us using the contact form and we will add it asap.

Together we’re powerful
